Nick asks: Due to this pandemic we’re scrambling to get our church service online. We have the cameras but are stumped on how to use OBS as the switching software. Any quick tutorials? The setup?

Answer: Thanks to this video…this is as quick as it gets.

  1. We were already online before the crisis, so we just had to move our kids ministry and other classes online, not figure how to do it all from scratch. Feel for you guys who had to figure this all out in a week.

  2. Thanks for sharing this! In our church we just start streaming our worship service. We are using OBS but the free presentation software that we are currently using is VideoPsalm; it does not support NDI. How can I capture that PC second monitor out (live display) to the PC that is running OBS?

  3. Thanks for the content! Our livestream setup is higher end but lots of churches are asking us how we’re doing it and its typically out of their expertise and budget. THIS VIDEO has given me a resource i can direct my friends and ministry partners to that makes sense and covers the bases.

  4. My church does Livestreams since some years and now this additional offer becomes the main way.
But one thing we noticed. Since we aren’t allowed to do gatherings with more than 49 persons, we do much more services than before and also we can welcome people we wouldn’t before and we experience more access, because there is hunger for this and much churches can’t involve people online.

  5. I’m using a video camera (connected to wifi). And I’m getting signal into my laptop through vlc but now how do I select the source in OBS because I’ve been struggling with that.
